Walk by faith, not by sight

Was about to delete my blogspot....

since I never actually post any blogs on it anymore, and Myspace is pretty much my "new" thing. But as I was looking for a way to do it, I came across this:

Never Delete a BlogSpot Account
Never delete your old blogspot accounts, even if you switch to another service or want to rid the earth of your site. If you have any inbound links, porn spammers are waiting to snatch up your blogspot subdomain. Christian blogger Scot McKnight recently got his own domain and deleted his jesuscreed.blogspot.com account, and it was immediately grabbed by a porn splogger.
You can delete your template and republish, but don’t, under any circumstances, give up a blogspot name. After all, they’re free, and you don’t have to use the account to keep it alive. The best practice is to leave a post with a link to your new site.

So, now I'm like, nèh.....maybe I shouldn't........just go to www.myspace.com/lena_hartandi to keep up with me if u'd like.......:) But Becca, you already knew this :P

For the sake of Becca....

Heyhey!! lol! I don't mean to make fun of Becca, but I was like "For the sake of Becca and blogspot I'm gonna update this blog!" Besides, I'm kinda feeling bad about giving my Myspace all of my time when I also have this thing going on. It's actually a good thing to have, cuz when I'm bored (just like now) I can update it! Yay! Not like I have this thing just for the sake of boredom, though. It's fun to have, just for the sake of fun, of course! lol!

OOH! Just wanted to thank Becca publicly for getting a Myspace. Yay for Becca! lol! Not that many people are actually reading this, but Bec, when ur reading this: YAY for you! I am glad we are keeping in touch more often through Myspace, I hope we'll keep doing that! You know what I was thinking? Well, what's ur e-mailaddress?? I would like to e-mail you sometime! That would be fun. Just, you know, gurl talk ;). Let me know, ok? Or can I find it somewhere on ur blog or Myspace.........lol! I'm such a dork!

I'm alive.....ALIVE!!! lol!

Heyhey!

For those who check out my blog once in a while...*cough* Becca *cough*, I have a confession to make.....................I have been cheating on xanga and blogger with...........with *bursts out in crying* with MYSPACE!!!!! Boohoo!..........................lol, but Myspace is cool. Have you ever heard of it? The kewlest part about it is that most of the Christian artists I know have one. You can become their friend and leave comments and stuff. It's like, more public, cuz you get to know these people who become ur friends and there are actually more people who read ur posts. That makes it a lot more fun. (of course, no offence to xanga- and blogspotmembers ;))
Anywayz, you should check it out sometime! www.myspace.com/lena_hartandi or just go to www.myspace.com and create your own!

At www.createblog.com/skins you can choose a layout for FREE! This goes for xanga, myspace, blogger, and many more. So, Becca (with your being creative and all and wanting to change your blogspot all the time), maybe it's an idea?

God bless!

Books are evil!!!

After two weeks of working at the bookstore, I'm so dead! As in dead tired! One guy called this job a mindkilling-job, because you don't really use your mind to do it. After a while it feels like your packing/sorting the books like a zombie or something, cuz it's just so BORING! Suddenly, I kinda hate books. Can you blame me? And oh yeah, last Friday our boss freaked out a little. Well, we work until 6 pm, but apparently there were some people who left at ten to 6 on Thursday and the boss was really pissed about it. He was like: "Look, I pay you until 6, so you stay until 6. If there is nothing left to do, you come to me and I'll give you something to do!" And I was thinking: "Gosh, give us a break! We work our butts off every day and you can't even give us those ten minutes?" And you know how he ended his little speech? With "Anywayz, now I've said that, I wish you all a great day and have fun working! *big smile*" You know, at first he seemed like a nice man, but when it comes to something he can't stand, he explodes! He's like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde or something. Really weird. I still have two weeks to go and I'm looking forward to the end, keeping my ultimate goal in sight! ==> going to the US next year!

Ok, but enough about work. You know what I found out? In two weeks I have to go back to school! Wow, time really flies, huh? I remember the day summerbreak started and it only seemed yesterday! Then again, it is really exciting to start a new year. I'm a sophomore now and proud of it! haha! Wow, I feel so old..........................but, I may be going to the US next year! lol! Well, gtg now, I'm getting sleepy, it's 10 pm overhere and I've worked so hard last week that I bet ya I'll fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. Goodnight and God bless!

NEWSFLASH!!!

Heyhey!!!

Becca, I'm so, so sorry. I was busy doing other stuff. I've been on vacation for a week, to Texel (pronounce it like: Tessel), which is this teenie-tiny island in the Netherlands. It was so great. I went with my friends and it was good to experience a little independence for a while, you know. The beach was like 5 minutes away. Unfortunately, the weather didn't really coöperate. We only had one beautiful day, a blue sky, no clouds and a lot of sunshine. So, guess what we did? Well, nothing much, except for laying on the beach all day trying to get some sort of tan (which I did!) and swim in the ocean. The other days were either really wet and it rained all day long or it was half rainy and half sunny. But, it was all good. We weren't bored for a second. One day we visited the seals and they were so cute. One was big and the other was just a baby. I wanted to bring one home, but then I snapped back to reality and realized that I couldn't raise a seal. LOL! It would've been kewl, though.

So, a week ago, I came back and that Monday I had to start working at this bookstore. Well, actually, the storageplace of that bookstore. I basically have to sort books and pack them in boxes. At first, I had to get used to it, cuz some boxes were pretty heavy! But at the end of the week it was a piece of cake! So, tomorrow will be the start of my second week. I will be working there for 4 weeks, which means that I will probably make a lot of money for next year when I want to study in the US for a semester. So.............anywayz, a quick update, just to let you know (Becca) that I'm still alive and I'm doing fine. I'm just a little busy with working right now, but I'll get back to ya asap!

Too much time on my hands!

Heyhey!!

It's official, I won't be seeing my school for two months! YAY! Well, I will keep working out as much as I can, so I will only see it from the outside............okay, anywayz, now I'm left with too much time on my hands. I have no idea what to do. It's not good for me to be sitting in front of the tv all the time or behind the computer, but there's nothing to do around here. I don't wanna go shopping, because I refuse to spend more money than I need to spend. It sounds serious when I say it like that! lol! But, it's just because I want to save as much money for next year. I've already got my eyez on this kewl University. I know I said I wanted to go to Berkeley University in California, but I was wondering if I would feel comfortable there, you know, with me being a foreign exchange student, valueing her faith very much. So, I was surfing around on the internet and I found this kewl Christian University in Colorado, simply called the Colorado Christian University (CCU) in a place called Lakewood. After browsing through their website, I got more excited to go there. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much about their foreign exchange program, so I kinda freaked out. You know, what if they do not work with foreign exchange students/programs? So, I decided to e-mail them (it probably contained a lot of mistakes in grammar, but oh well...) and they e-mailed me back. It was just so kewl to hear from them and this lady that e-mailed me back was not familiar with the foreign exchange policy (uh-oh!), but was willing to figure it out for me and to get me the information I needed. I really pray to God that it will work out with this University, since I thought I would have gone to this university if I lived in the US. That's how excited I was about it.
So, instead of the westcoast, I'm going to be somewhere in the middle, between the Colorado mountains! It's pretty funny, since my sister went to Colorado as well, for her internship.
I know, it's still a year from now, but you know how fast a year passes by?? I mean, I'm already freaking out right now, cuz first I have to get an approval of my school about the university I picked, then I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Sure thing is, that I have to arrange a visa, probably a creditcard, I actually have to get IN the CCU (which means application forms, maybe a motivation letter of some kind, etc.), ofcourse the planeticket, housing, books, etc. WOW! This freaks me out even more! Maybe it's good I started digging for information! lol!
Anywayz, if all turns out well, I will be attending the CCU for the fall semester of 2006. Oh, I'm so excited! lol!
